This policy explains the general STH warranty framework. The exact product model, warranty duration, coverage, exclusions and remedy stated in the final invoice, warranty card, quotation or signed agreement take priority.
Draft website policy for implementation. Replace all demonstration contact details, warranty periods, operational promises and company identifiers with verified STH information, then obtain review from a Bangladesh-qualified legal professional before publication.
Products and applicable terms
Warranty applies only to a product and period expressly identified in valid STH transaction documents or an authorized dealer record. Different vehicle, battery, charger and component models may have different terms.
Website examples, marketing images or general statements do not create a warranty period or performance promise.
Start date and proof
The warranty start date is the date defined in the applicable transaction document, normally connected to sale or delivery. Proof of purchase, model and readable serial may be required.
Where registration is required, the customer should complete it with accurate seller, purchase and product information. Registration does not replace proof or expand coverage.
What may be covered
Subject to the model-specific terms and inspection, warranty may cover an eligible manufacturing or material defect arising during normal approved use.
Coverage does not mean every reduction in range, capacity, appearance, noise or operating time is a defect. Normal aging, usage and environmental effects must be distinguished from a covered failure.
Battery-specific conditions
The battery must be used only with an approved vehicle configuration, controller, charger, wiring, connectors and installation. Model-specific limits for voltage, current, temperature, depth of discharge, storage and charging apply.
Battery capacity and runtime can change over service life. Any capacity threshold, test method or remedy must be stated in the model-specific warranty; no universal threshold is created by this website.
Common exclusions
Unless applicable law or the written product terms provide otherwise, coverage may be excluded for misuse, overload, incompatible charging, reversed polarity, unauthorized opening or modification, bypassed protection, incorrect installation, accident, impact, fire, flood or water exposure, corrosion, pests, theft, cosmetic wear, consumables, transport damage after acceptance or continued use after warning signs.
Use in a different application, vehicle or electrical system from the approved configuration may also affect coverage.
Customer responsibilities
The customer must follow product instructions, preserve labels, serials and records, use the matched charger, maintain the vehicle and electrical system, stop unsafe operation and report issues promptly.
The customer should not open, repair, alter or transport a potentially unsafe high-energy battery without instructions.
Claim procedure
Submit the claim through the Warranty Claim page or the published support channel with customer, seller, model, serial, purchase proof, symptoms, timeline, photos, charger and vehicle information.
STH may request additional evidence, remote checks, return to an authorized location or physical inspection before deciding coverage.
Inspection and diagnosis
The product and related system may be inspected to identify the cause. Intermittent or system-level faults may require the vehicle, charger, controller or installation to be available as well as the claimed product.
Customers must follow safe transport and handling instructions, particularly for damaged, swollen, hot, leaking or otherwise unsafe batteries.
Available remedy
Where a claim is accepted, STH may provide the remedy stated in the applicable terms, such as repair, component service, replacement with the same or functionally equivalent product, or another written resolution.
A replacement does not automatically restart or extend the original warranty unless the written terms or applicable law require it.
Costs and logistics
Inspection, removal, installation, transport, travel, downtime and other costs are handled according to the product-specific policy, written agreement, claim outcome and applicable law.
Obtain instructions before sending a product. Unapproved shipping or unsafe packaging may be refused.
Transfer and resale
Warranty transferability is model- and transaction-specific. A product resale or ownership change does not automatically transfer warranty rights.
Product verification or registration alone does not create transfer rights.
Legal rights
This policy is in addition to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Bangladesh law, including applicable consumer-protection requirements.
Where a written product warranty conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory right prevails to the required extent.
